More than sixty Scottish organisations are among those short-listed in the finals of The National Business Awards  for Scotland 2008, sponsored by Orange.

The Awards, which recognise and reward business excellence, innovation and success, are uniquely open to organisations of all sizes from any industry sector - public or private.

The finalists, including Scottish entrepreneurs, SME's, multi-nationals and public sector bodies, will now prepare to make their presentations in person to a further panel of expert judges, including senior executives, academics and business specialists, from late July 2008.

Last year's winners included Kwik-Fit Financial Services, Glasgow Science Centre, Hilton Glasgow Hotel, Bigmouthmedia and Crieff Hydro.

All the finalists of the awards have shown passion, determination and originality - we wish them all luck in the final rounds of judging."
