Advanced User Courses
Course Objectives:
- Developing the dexterity skills of the entire set of IPM suite programs
- Understanding of the physics and methods used in the tools
- Understanding the limitations of the methods and techniques used
The course is aimed at IPM corporate clients that wish to develop a team of internal experts to an advanced level to support their organisation developing an Integrated Production Culture.
Course Format
This type of course is structured as a series of engineering workshops using real field challenges. The exercises are given to the attendees to deepen their petroleum engineering knowledge. Develop advanced problem solving in context to integrated production modelling and demonstrate methodologies and approaches to analysing and thinking in terms of integration: reservoir - modelling specialist near well bore effects, PVT, production optimisation, dynamic linking of models from reservoir to process.
Entry Requirement to the course:
Attendees will be expected to have completed a full IPM course and been actively using the IPM tools within their organisation in an integrated fashion of their fields prior to attending the course. A substantial level of knowledge is expected.
